Northern Ireland Agriculture Minister Michelle O’Neill has asked her officials to speed up paying Single Farm Payments
She said more staff, IT improvements and better administration should complete cases more quickly.
O’Neill also said banks had been asked to ‘show flexibility’ about the problems late payments were causing farmers.
