Mental health services across Wales remain inconsistent and could still be a low priority in the reorganised health service, AMs have warned.

In an inquiry into community-based services, the National Assembly for Wales’ health, wellbeing and local government committee found that the National Service Framework for Adult Mental Health Services had not been fully implemented and its achievements had been limited.

Committee chair Darren Millar said the services ‘vary considerably in availability and quality’.
