The chief executive and finance manager of a housing association that provides homes for refugees and immigrants have been dismissed by the Housing Corporation.
Ronnie Moodley and Richard O'Dur, suspended in January amid allegations of fraud at Arhag Housing Association, were told to leave their posts on August 8 following an inquiry.
The inquiry was set up by the corporation following an inspection of Arhag last year by the Audit Commission. This found that the association broke the 1996 Housing Act when it rehoused staff and later altered records to cover up the way it allocated homes.
A corporation spokesman said it would be monitoring Arhag closely over the next 12 months.
