Another housing association has run into management problems following a highly critical report by the Audit Commission.
Peter Redman, chief executive of Notting Hill Housing Group for the past ten years, announced that he was quitting the post within days of publication of the commission's report.
According to the commission, the London-based registered social landlord must improve its lettings, repairs and customer complaints services, as well as asset management and payments to contractors.
Redman is the first RSL chief executive to leave his job as a result of a poor inspection report since the Audit Commission took over inspections from the Housing Corporation in April.
In a statement issued through Notting Hill on November 3, Redman said: 'It is important that people and organisations should embrace change and recognise that renewal is positive.'
Ingrid Reynolds, group director of property, has been appointed acting chief executive.
