The awards, now in their second year, recognise success and innovation in finance and governance across all parts of the public sector.
There are 18 categories, with shortlisted entrants drawn from local government, the NHS, police and fire services, central government agencies and housing associations.
New categories were included this year, including Public Finance Leader of the Year, Innovation in Risk Management and Community Engagement Project of the Year.
The awards entries were considered by 16-strong judging panel including Janet Senior, executive director of resources and regeneration at the London Borough of Lewisham, Natalie Elphicke, chief executive and director of the Housing & Finance Institute, and Richard Douglas, former head of the government finance profession.
Public Finance editor and judge Vivienne Russell said: “It was great to see such a diverse range of entries this year from a good cross-section of public sector organisations.
“The awards will really put the spotlight on some of the excellent work underway on the frontline.
“We look forward to announcing the winners at the gala dinner on 25 April.”
