Sinn Féin councillor Seán McPeake was appointed president of the Northern Ireland Local Government Association for the 2012/13 term following its September 28 AGM.
McPeake said local government was at a ‘massively challenging crossroads’, adding: ‘A huge amount needs to be done in order to support the delivery of local government reform.’
