Those logging on to the site are told they could qualify for a £500 reward for information that leads to any of the men being charged. They are also warned not to approach them. The picture campaign forms part of Operation Safer Streets, a Birmingham-based anti-robbery initiative, which has now gone nationwide thanks to additional government funding of £3.3m.
West Midlands' Chief Constable David Crew said: 'This is not a flash in the pan. Although Safer Streets is being expanded force-wide, it will continue without time limit.'
Among those featured on the site is Vincent Michael Palmer, 34, a convicted armed robber serving a 13-year sentence who escaped during a further trial for conspiracy to rob a post office.
