Preparing yourself for shared services, devolution and collaborative working

The current reality is that senior officers and managers in public bodies are being thrust into leading on multi-million pound collaborations, or shared services without formal skill or knowledge development. CIPFA has partnered with Canterbury Christ Church University to deliver a rapid learning, six-month course that provides you with knowledge and skills to successfully initiate and progress collaborative transformation projects or shared back and front-office services.

Who is this webinar aimed at?

Senior managers and teams across the public sector who are being tasked with leading and developing collaborations or shared service projects and anyone who would like to successfully enter into this area of work.

Topics addressed during the webinar

  • Manage the initiation and development of a business case in diverse partnerships in collaborative public sector settings
  • Develop a sound and systematic understanding of collaboration strategy
  • Identify and critically evaluate current research and practice in the field of change management
  • Apply change management principles to front and back office collaborations
  • Apply understanding of collaborations and shared service initiatives to your own organisation
  • Create effective roadmaps for use by your employer.
