The Welsh Government is consulting on the future of libraries. It suggests libraries work together more to review their services and help improve national literacy rates

The Welsh Government is consulting  on the future of libraries. It suggests libraries work together more to review their services and help improve national literacy rates.


Heritage Minister Alun Ffred Jones said: ‘In these challenging times, it is important that libraries evaluate and, if appropriate, implement new ways of delivering services through greater partnership working to ensure the best possible service.’
