Public Finance understands that this is because the system’s initials are already taken by the Civil Aviation Authority.

The assessments, which cover all local service providers, will be known as Oneplace.

The Audit Commission will hand its first Oneplace reports to Local Strategic Partnerships on December 3, and publish the results online on December 10.

In the US, an organisation called Oneplace advertises itself as ‘the home of Christian radio’, collecting sermons and ministries from various devotional broadcasters on to a single website.
